how many seasons has carson wentz played in the nfl

Carson Wentz is one of the most exciting NFL quarterbacks in recent history. He’s had the pleasure of playing for the Philadelphia Eagles since his rookie season in 2016, and in total, he’s made it into four seasons of professional football. Each season has certainly had its ups and downs, but there’s no denying the impact he’s had during that time period.

The first season was a wild roller coaster! He got off to a hot start and led the Eagles to a 3-0 record before suffering a serious injury that resulted in him missing the rest of the regular season. Despite his absence, the Eagles still managed to achieve an 11-5 record, which put them into the playoffs as the NFC East champs. They were forced to start a backup quarterback for the remaining games, but Wentz was right there in the locker room, supporting the team and encouraging his teammates every step of the way.

The second season was even wilder! Despite missing most of the previous season, Wentz totally blew away everyone’s expectations. He had a career-best year, leading the Eagles to a 10-6 record with an average quarterback rating of 101 and finishing fourth in NFL MVP voting that year. His performance was simply outstanding.

The third season was a huge disappointment. Wentz was injured again and missed the remainder of the regular season, and the Eagles’ offensive production took a nosedive as a result. His backup, once again, was forced to start, and while he actually performed reasonably well, the team still ended up with a disappointing 9-7 record overall.

The fourth season was a redemption story of sorts for Wentz. Despite having missed time earlier in the season due to injury, he still managed to rebound and finish strong. He’d play in every game at the end of the year, establishing the highest completion percentage of his career, and ultimately helping the team to an amazing 9-7 record. It was definitely a great way to end his fourth season.

As a Carson Wentz fan, it’s been incredibly fun for me to see him progress over these four seasons. He’s experienced a lot of highs and lows, but he’s never stopped striving to be better. He’s a true example of resilience, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how he does in the years to come!

Now with four seasons under his belt, Wentz has developed into a leader on the Eagles offense, along with building quite a bit of individual success. He’s thrown for a total of 14,828 yards, 88 touchdowns, and 35 interceptions with his career quarterback rating of 89.4. Additionally, in the lone playoff game of his career in the 2018 season, Wentz and the Eagles achieved an overtime win against the defending champs, the New England Patriots.

With his clear drive to perform and win, Wentz has become a fan favorite in Philadelphia and across the NFL. His career speaks for itself in terms of success, as he’s earned Pro-Bowl nods in each of his four seasons along with being named second team All-Pro in 2017. Furthermore, Wentz holds the Eagles franchise records for most games with a passing touchdown and most consecutive pass completions, along with several other marks.

Carson Wentz has made quite the impact in the NFL in his four-season span, and we’re sure to see this continue in the years to come. He’s a passionate and determined individual, who strives to become even better. With his new contract extension signed in 2019, Wentz is set to be with the Eagles for the foreseeable future, and he doesn’t plan on slowing down anytime soon.

Apart from his success on the field, Wentz has become an integral member of the Philadelphia community. He’s an amazing public speaker who started his own AO1 foundation to “demonstrate the love of God by providing opportunities and support for the less fortunate and those in need”. He’s been actively giving back to the community since starting the foundation, and he even received the NFL’s prestigious Ed Block Courage Award for his incredible efforts in 2018.

Since his entrance to the NFL, Carson Wentz has been an amazing leader both on and off the field. With his admiration of the community and fearless attitude, we will continue to see Wentz dominate the competition for years to come! Do you think he’ll earn a Super Bowl ring by the end of his NFL career?
