It was an exciting weekend for NFL Football and I was keeping a sharp eye on the games. There were some high scoring games, but the one that really grabbed my attention was between the Jets and the Saints. Could any NFL Football team score 33 this week?
The Jets had all the confidence in the world they could pull off this miracle score. They came out ready to give the Saints a run for their money. It was a back and forth game right up until the fourth quarter when the Jets finally took the lead. With two minutes left in the game, the Jets came within inches of scoring and my heart was pounding. Alas, the Saints stood tall, keeping the Jets from getting those last few yards and the final score was 33-30 in favor of the Saints.
But even in loss, I was impressed with Jets’ show of grit and sheer determination. It was truly inspiring to witness. Even in their defeat, the Jets taught us a valuable lesson: that no matter how far you are from the goal, keep pushing forward and never give up.
At the end of the week, no other NFL Football team was able to score 33. The Jets were the only team in the league this week to even come close. Other teams had close games, but they all failed to reach that magical number. It was a hard lesson for some teams but the Jets’ feat has definitely given us all something to remember for seasons to come.
The rest of the week was filled with some incredible plays and even more amazing players. Every NFL Football team worked hard, giving it their all to make this an unforgettable season. And here’s hoping that 2020 will bring just as much excitement and skill.
It was clear that this season was special from the day it began. The question of whether any NFL Football team could score 33 this week may never have been answer, but I’m certainly proud of the Jets for almost accomplishing this feat. It might have been a frustrating loss for them, but it was an incredible effort and I’m sure that they’ll be able to pull off this feat next time.
Over the course of the season, we’ve seen so many great games and some incredible performances from NFL Football teams. But the Jets almost scoring 33 this week really highlights what a great time for football this is. The competition is fierce, the teams are determined and the fans are passionate. Long may this excitement continue.
