It’s NFL Sunday and most of us can’t wait to find out who will be playing. Everyone has their favorite team that they cheer for, and it’s exciting to see who will be playing. I’m sure there’s a lot of excitement in the air when the teams are announced.
My favorite team is the Houston Texans, and I can just feel the excitement coursing through my veins when I hear that the Texans will be playing. I absolutely love the atmosphere at the games and when my team is announced I can’t help but do a little dance.
Both teams doing their pre-game warm-ups always fill me with anticipation. I’m always hoping that all the practice and preparation will pay off and get the team a win. When the game starts the intensity level rises and I can feel it in the air. It’s like I’m living and breathing the game, from the loud cheers to the gasps when someone gets tackled.
After halftime has come and the teams return to the field ready to give it their all. I’m on the edge of my seat ready to cheer them on every step of the way. I’m crossing my fingers that our team will stay ahead or catch up if needed. Whether there’s a thrilling catch, amazing touchdown or heroic interception, I know I can depend on the amazing NFL players to give their best.
The fourth quarter is always intense and it gives me butterflies every time. Will we pull off a win or will we lose? All these questions are running through my head and I can’t help but stay glued to the TV. The cheering in the crowd sometimes gives me goosebumps, and no matter if my team wins or loses I’m still in awe of all that’s been accomplished on the field.
Even the post-game show is quite interesting. The players are interviewed and get to share their thoughts on the game and express their gratitude for everyone’s support. It’s always beautiful to see people who come from all walks of life coming together for the love of the game.
When NFL Sunday is over I always feel like I’ve just gone through the most riveting movie experience of my life. I made it through and every once in a while I’m gifted with a victory at the end. I’m always grateful for the entertaining and thrilling displays of sportsmanship that I get to witness.
It’s like a roller coaster of emotions when I watch an NFL game. I get to enjoy the ride from start to finish and I get to share those same emotions with other passionate fans. It’s simply magical!
I’m sure each NFL fan has different experiences with the game, so I’m curious to know what the other die-hard fans have to say about their favorite team. Do you think being an NFL fan is life changing? Or do you think it’s just an excuse to watch some entertaining football?
